wishlist: payday beauty
Hello! With my manager being off at work and 40hrs going spare on the rota, full time hours and a glorious six days in a row were thrust upon me. Now, working in retail has its limits and that limit is about four days before you start to crack up a little. So, at work today I was thinking about payday. Beautiful, sweet payday. I already have my eye on a Michael Kors bag and purse, plus some Vivienne Westwood earrings, but you know what cheers me up more than fashion? Beauty. Beauty and underwear, to be precise. I decided to make a wishlist solely of the former, as looking at beautiful models in their undies just makes me regret eating KFC and I enjoy KFC too much to do that to myself. But one thing I will say is that that lovely website Figleaves has an online fitting room which actually works. Nobody (and by that I'm probably just referring to myself) likes being fitted for a bra, so being able to do it in the comfort of your own home is a bloomin' bonus, don't you think?
Anyways, back to makeup. Feeling fed up always leads to Selfridges, Space NK and Cult Beauty so high end items it is. Nothing screams instant happiness than a luxurious product to me, as a self confessed sucker for packaging, so I'll run through everything I've picked out above...
I rarely use one eyeshadow, unless it's a MAC paint pot or Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow in the little tub, so palettes are a big thumbs up. Both the Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette and Charlotte Tilbury Colour-Coded Eyeshadow Palette in The Dolce Vita (Have you seen the range of her palettes? Be still my beating heart) are both right up my neutral wearing street. Paired with a red lip like Tom Ford Cherry Lush or a autumnal berry tone like Stila Colour Balm Lipstick in Brigette, they're a match made in heaven. For my base, I've picked a dreamy looking foundation from Suqqu. Just look at that texture you guys, srsly. Urg, want! The Nars Killing Me Softly Cheek Palette has such a lovely range of shades that it's basically a must have and finally, for nails I love a good dark hue as Autumn draws in so Azature Black Diamond is my first choice!
What do you like to buy (or window shop) to cheer yourself up? Treating yourself to anything after payday?
ps. Remember there's 20% off my advertising and my Chanel giveaway ends on Monday!
