BEAUTY: Winter Makeup Favourites

I do love the rich tones of winter. The berry shades, the golds, the reds and dusty pinks – I look forward to piling it on when November rolls around. Today, I’m sharing my current winter makeup favourites and they’re good’uns I promise.

I’ve went back to using the classic NARS Sheer Glow foundation recently and I had forgot how much I love it. It’s medium coverage, leaves a glow to the skin and is long lasting, perfect for a busy day. I really want to try the Matte version of this foundation too!

I am partial to matching my cheeks with my lips, so pairing my favourite Stila Convertible Colour in Poppy (a beautiful berry-red) and NARS Audacious Lipstick in Charlotte (a gorgeous rich berry) has been my favourite option recently. I literally adore this new lipstick release from NARS, the formula is amazing and I’ll be picking up a lot more shades in the future!

On my eyes I’ve been loving the Bobbi Brown Mini Eye Palette they’ve released as part of their Christmas collection. It has the perfect combination of warm and cool tones, giving you options from an every day subtle eye to something a bit more smokey. I like how it’s a mix of matte and shimmer shades too, so there’s something for everyone.

I’ve swapped out my favourite Clinique mascara in favour of the YSL Shocking Mascara and I really love it. It definitely gives my lashes the false effect (aka they look enormous!) and it separates them really well. This is only the mini size, but I’d consider purchasing the full size as I’m really impressed.

Finally, I had to opt for a berry nail shade so Nails Inc Savile Row has been top of my list lately. I love how it’s dark, yet chic and is opaque in two coats.

What are you loving at the moment? Let me know!
