BEAUTY: The Blush Drawer

I’m quite proud of my little blush drawer. After my recent blog sale, I really narrowed it down (if you call the above narrowed down…) to the ones I adore the most with the best formulas and finishes. I’ve got some new favourites and some old favourites in there too, so dragged a few of those out for this post!

One I’ve been using for years is Benefit Dallas. It looks quite brown and more like a contour shade in the pan, but I really love it applied lightly to cheeks, as it looks like a dusty rose on the skin. I really rate the Benefit box blushes, as they last for ages and have a great range of colours!

Everyone was a bit obsessed with the Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow Blush last year (I think it was) and I jumped on that bandwagon too. Mine is in the older packaging before it was changed to the more rectangle one and, I believe, made smaller for the same price, but I recently rediscovered it. The bright, crazy looking shade above is Liquifuchsia, which looks terrifying but makes for a great burst of colour.

Finally, I had my heart set on owning a Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush for such a long time so when I eventually got one I was so pleased! This beautiful shade is Blissful, which is a really pretty coral colour which you can build up or leave for a subtle flush. I really adore it!
