The Benefit Brow Collection

Benefit have knocked it out of the park with their new brow collection, releasing not one but a entire range of brow perfectors to give you those arches that even the most profound instagram MUA would be proud of. I was luckily sent a few bits to try and, as I’ve released I’d rather apply my brows that eyeliner these days – a rather bold statement for me – I was oh so excited to test them out. There’s a few older (but staple) products in the range which have been repackaged, but the majority of the collection is brand spanking new. Speaking of the packaging, I actually really love it. Of course the outside boxes are gimmicky but that’s just Benefit, isn’t it? The silver product packaging is very pretty, however, and I love the contrast of silver with the pink and the detail of it all, very nicely done Benefit!

Onto products and I’ve been testing out five over the past week or so. To start, you use the Benefit Browvo! Brow Conditioning Primer which acts as a base to condition and treat your brows while extending the wear of any products you put on top of them. I’d have to test this long term, but I like the cooling effect it has when you apply it, plus you only need a small amount so it’ll last a really long time too.

Next we have products to add actual colour to your brows. The first time I tried these, I filled in my brows with the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil which is angled to get a more precise finish. I don’t really do solid instagram brows and prefer them to be more natural, so this product was perfect for that! It gives you really light strokes, but is waxy enough to stay put. Over this I brushed through some Benefit Gimme Brow (which I’ve tried before) and the two work well together. Gimme Brow is a gel designed to give you fuller and thicker brows and I do think it works well for that! On another day, I tried out the Benefit Ka-Brow! which is a bit of an all in one kinda deal. More waxy and solid than ABH Dip Brow, this handy pot comes with its own brush in the lid so it’s handy for travelling or throwing in your makeup bag. I do find I had to dip into the product a lot more than I was used to, but as a whole I really liked the pay off of the Benefit Ka-Brow.

Finally, to seal the deal, there’s the Benefit Ready, Set, Brow! which is a clear gel to make sure your brows stay in place all day. This stuff definitely works, even if it made my brows feel a slight bit crispy, but I don’t often touch them so that isn’t really a problem! They definitely didn’t move, so thumbs up for the brow gel!

All in all, it’s a really great collection and they’ve definitely got something for everyone if you’re looking for something to make those brows look amazing! Have you tried any of the collection?
