I’ve really fell head over heels for pink recently which is something I seem to do in phases. First it was the pinky-red-berry tones of the Sephora shade Oh Oh! which I featured a post recently which sparked off my lust, then I’ve went into a mix of all things pink from then on. The three above have been in strong rotation in my lipstick wardrobe, so here’s the lowdown on the current loves of my life.
Starting from the top, we have the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Berry which you’d obviously think was a berry tone and not a pink. However, I think it comes off like a dark yet vibrant raspberry hue on me which I really love. I desperately want more of these melted lipsticks as the applicator and the formula is one of my favourites in my collection!
Next we have more of a nude shade for those who like to keep things light. I have loved the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm for such a long time now as it’s the most perfect every day shade. The matte finish isn’t too drying either, so you can comfortable wear them for hours and hours without wanting to scrub your face off.
Finally, we have one from my duty free haul which is the YSL Rouge Pur Couture in shade 27 Soft Fuchsia. It’s the perfect barbie hue when you want to go with something bold, or you can pat it in for a more subtle look. The packaging of this lipstick is so dreamy and the consistency is super smooth and creamy – gorgeous!
