today: baseball jackets and hellocotton

jacket: river island via ebay (similar here and here) / top (similar here), jeans (here) and shoes (similar here): topshop / bag: D&G / watch: MK (similar here)

it’s guaranteed that my obsession for leather sleeves will continue for quite a while, as it’s already two years strong and this jacket is a perfect addition to my family. this counts especially when it was only about £4 on ebay, brand new too. i do love a bargain. you probably can’t even tell this top is silver, but trust me it is. i thought i’d be sensible and wear a jacket just incase it got cold and i ended up being absolutely freezing!  my parents even had the fire on when i came back home, how ridiculous.
we (my bf and i) went out with the intention of just finding somewhere quick and cheap to eat so we could get on with the most important part of our evening: cocktails. we wandered along to zizzi’s, sat down and waited so so long (a good 25minutes) before someone even acknowledged our existence! we decided to just leave before ordering food (prompted by the boy, as i felt a bit bad!) as we figured if this is what the service is like, the food will probably follow suit. i’m pretty sure they’ve bumped the prices up recently too, as i can’t remember it being that pricey for such average italian cuisine before. i mean, last time i went there the service was bad (and that was on a lunchtime with only 5 tables in!) but it seems to have somehow gone further downhill! and if you know me (which you’s all clearly do, obv) you’ll know that i love restaurants so you can gather how disappointed i was.
anyways, we wandered down to one of our favourite places for food that we always know is tasty:

i had my usual steak, rare as hell thank you very much. i’m glad that some people agreed with me via twitter on the meat front, well done is absolutely vile! the boy got spaghetti bolognese and already started eating it before i was like ‘waitttt, PHOTOS’ so apologies if the sauce is all over. like he said, it’s not really a dish you eat nicely in public without it getting everywhere. we followed this with cocktails and i’ve taken exactly the same picture of the same cocktails before because we do have our favourites. gonna have to try some new ones next time we go i think!

hope you’re all having a lovely week so far and i’d like to say a big hello to any new followers!
