beauty: pamper night wishlist

Hello! If there’s one thing that’s been occurring less and less in my routine, it’s a pamper night. They used to be a bi-weekly ritual between finishing university and getting a job, but with not getting back in the house until after 10:30pm some nights, my bed seems like a better option than slapping on loads of products.
I’m determined to reintroduce this into my routine a few days a week, as there’s nothing better than looking after your skin properly and I much prefer doing that than going out (which sounds sad, I know). I really wasn’t surprised to learn that a survey by ladbrokes bingo showed 70% of women prefer a girls night in, especially as the nights get colder, who wants to spend longer outside than they have to? Certainly not me.
Anyways, my ideal pamper night would consist of a shower or bath with a lovely candle on such as Diptyque Mimosa, with my hair slathered in a deep conditioning treatment like Percy & Reed Totally TLC Hydrating Mask. Then I’d probably use a body oil, like any of the ones I talked about in this post to keep skin in top condition.
Once I’ve dried my hair and tied it up, I would start on my facial skincare. Having previously double cleansed my skin with an oil cleanser (which are great for removing makeup) such as NUDE Perfect Cleansing Oil and gone over with Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip, which is a clay based cleanser and draws out all dirt in your pores revealing more clear skin, I’d then start with masks.
I always use more than one, starting with a deep cleansing mask like Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask then using a hydrating mask such as Aromatherapy Associates Rose Hydrating Face Mask to put the moisture back into my skin.
Once the masks are washed off, I would pick a treatment. First off would have to be Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye to try and keep my dark circles at bay! As for my face, depending on my skin at the time, I would either opt for a hydrating oil like NUDE ProGenius Oil, an exfoliating peel such as Kiehl’s Overnight Biological Peel for fresh looking skin or Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum to revive skin and make it look its best.
So, they’re all the products on my never ending search for perfectly pampered skin. I might pick one or two up at the end of the month and see if they work!
