Hello! Yes, it’s that time again, the monthly favourites. I’m sure you must all be sick of them, but as last month was skipped I thought I’d bring you all a treat (not really) with my geordie tones on video.
So, this month has mostly been a skincare month, starting with a wonderful cream cleanser by Apitiva. It’s great to use on a morning, made from lots of lovely natural ingredients and really soothes skin. Kiehl’s have been in my life quite a lot this month, so Kiehl’s Powerful Line Reducing Concentrate has been working to brighten up and even out my skin. Same with Kiehl’s Line Reducing Eye Brightening Concentrate, it’s really improved the texture of my eye area so my makeup goes on so much smoother! If I want an extra boost, I’ll use REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, which I’ve talked about before. It’s definitely worth the hype! To put moisture back into my skin, I’ve been relying on Origins Make A Difference+ Treatment, which I reviewed in more detail here. It’s a really lovely nighttime cream that leaves skin looking plump in the morning.
As for makeup, Estee Lauder has been quite prominent this month, having not used the brand for a while. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer have been a dream team to cover over dark circles, imperfections and make my skin look far better than it is as a whole! Since deciding to start a MAC palette, MAC Satin Taupe has been on my eyelids pretty much every day, as it’s just a perfect cool toned neutral. It looks amazing with a bit of Sketch in the crease too!
You may well know that I’m pretty low maintenance with my hair, but do like it to have a lot of volume and texture, so Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Finish Spray has been working wonders. It really does boost hair up and hold it there all day! It’s like the post-hair drying version of KMS Paste Up Spray I think, which is also a wonderful product (when I remember to use it!)
