CHRISTMAS: The Presents

Hello! I sincerely hope you all had a lovely Christmas (or just a lovely day if you don’t celebrate it) and spent the day eating lots of food and generally being merry. My Christmas was a pleasant one and I believe I have went up a dress size, as my mum’s dinner should be written in legend somewhere. I’m not one for Sunday dinners, but I’m totally fine having one on Christmas day!

I’ve really been enjoying looking at what everyone got for their presents, as it’s nice to share happiness and be genuinely grateful for what you’ve been bought. My family doesn’t really go all out on presents (apart from my dad for my mum, much to my mum’s eye rolling every year), but I do really appreciate every little thing I get.

My main present was my lovely Michael Kors purse as my Vivienne Westwood one is literally falling apart! I managed to snap it up at work before they all sold out for the third time in a row! I was at the end of my Prada Candy, so I was ecstatic to see a new bottle under the tree. My parents also got me a few skincare bits in the form of Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser and Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins, as I’d seem them reviewed on blogs and wanted to give them a go!

Little stocking fillers came in the form of my favourite dry body oil which is No.7 Dry Oil Body Spray, chocolates, a Philosophy Christmas Set (off my sister) and LUSH Big Shampoo, which is great as I’m nearly out! My mum also got me a double sided MAC palette just before xmas, a blush palette insert, MAC Craving Lipstick (as mine is pretty much empty) and a MAC Paint Pot in Vintage Selection.

My lovely boyfriend (who does great blog designs, hint) got me the blogger favourite Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim light and the utterly gorgeous NUDE ProGenius Treatment Oil. Reviews on both definitely coming soon, as they’re both wonderful!

This year, I was also lucky enough to receive a few bits and bobs off some wonderful brands for the Christmas period. First up is a skincare set from one of my favourite natural brands: Apivita. The little box contains Euphoria Body Milk, Bath and Shower Gel and Natural Soap which all contain Jasmine and White Tea. Can’t wait to use and review them! REN (ie. one of my favourite brands of all time) sent me their lovely REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil and new Hot Cloth Cleanser to try.

The utterly amazing brand Balance Me sent me their Balance Me Shine On Tinted Lip Salve, which is a gorgeous red shade, along with a cute knitted Christmas tree! Finally, I was sent over a ‘Winter Survival Kit’, which includes a Kath Kidston floral cup, some M&S Wildflower Honey and a cute scarf from French Connection. It’s the ultimate cold cure!

So, that’s everyone I got. I am unbelievable grateful for every little thing and I can’t wait to get testing them all, so reviews will be coming your way as soon as they’ve been sampled! Sorry the post is so long, but if you’ve put up a similar one, then leave some links below!

Have a lovely boxing day and think of me at work, probably crying and hiding in the stockroom from sale hunters and angry customers who want their money back!
