BEAUTY: Hair Favourites #3

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, my hair isn’t something that comes under discussion a lot on here. On my list of priorities it’s definitely skincare – makeup – other things – haircare, so to say I’m rather blasé about it is an understatement. Nevertheless, this lazy girl thought she should share her current haircare routine from start to finish, just incase anyone was wondering.

To begin, I’ve adopted the current trend of reverse washing and it really has worked wonders on my hair. I condition my hair first with Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Conditioner, just in the last 1/3, concentrating on the very ends then follow with Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Shampoo, really lathering it up for a deep clean. I know B+B make wonderful hair products, but this little duo are really great for every day washing as they’re gentle on your hair and leave it feeling soft and nourished.

If I’m putting a treatment on my hair, the Dove Express Treatment Conditioner is one I reach for quite often because a) it’s cheap as chips and b) it does the job well. My hair is always left feeling so much healthier, without being weighed down, plus it’s smells delightful so that’s always a bonus.

Following on with another Dove product, the Dove Leave-In Conditioning & Care Spray is equally as good. You just shake the bottle, spray directly onto hair (or hands and smooth through) and dry your hair as normal. I genuinely think the ends of my hair are much less dry since using it!

Finally, back to the high street again, a new purchase by the name of Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray has been winning me over. It’s very comparable to some KMS products I have, so in terms of high street vs high end it’s quite a smart purchase. I spray it in strips around my roots, then mess it up with my fingers which gives a really good amount of volume and texture. It’s definitely a wash your hair the next day kinda product though as I’ll be damned if I could get my fingers through my hair the morning after!

So, that’s my current haircare routine incase any of you were curious. I often get asked what I do with my hair, but it’s so low maintenance that this post will probably be rather disappointing! What do you use on your hair? Any products I should be getting?
