As mentioned in yesterday’s post, shopping was top of the list in London and oh boy, did we shop. There’s so many stores in central that it’s hard to get round them all, but we pinpointed a few we wanted to visit and money was indeed spent!
I’ll start with the fashion-y items and if you’ve been reading my blog a while, you’ll know that getting a well fitting leather jacket has been top of my list for a long time. I’ve bought and returned more than a normal person would, so when I came across the beauty above in Urban Outfitters, I knew it was the one. It’s the right length, the right thickness of leather and the zips and buckles are in the right place. You guys, I’m so happy.
Next on my list was a trip to & Other Stories aka one of my most online checked stores ever. It was really busy (Saturday in central London, oh my lawd) so didn’t get a proper look around, but I did pick up this really nice oxford style shirt, made from the softest material. Basic but perfect. I also grabbed a Nail Polish in Boucle Greige, which is a cross between the perfect grey/lilac and nude/pink, a Bunk Bouquet Hand Cream (yum!) and a Lipstick in Luxor Red, which is a beautiful dark red. The striped thing underneath is a huge (and I mean huge) scarf from Monki which I’m looking forward to drowning myself in in Winter!
Selfridges beauty hall came next (insert praying emoji here) and of course I had to dash straight over to Charlotte Tilbury and pick up some bits. A lot of the lipsticks were sold out, so I got the eye palettes in The Dolce Vita and The Vintage Vamp and they’re both so beautiful! My final makeup stop was Kiko, as I’d never used their makeup before and the prices are so reasonable. I got three Lip Pencils, in red, dark plum and a pinky shade as I was desperate for some more in my collection. I also got a Long Lasting Colour Lip (06) in a dark red/berry shade and it seriously does what it says on the tin! That stuff doesn’t budge. Not bad for a fiver, ey.
