BEAUTY: 3 Masks for a Skin Overhaul

There’s nothing nicer than seeing skincare with instant results. Whether that’s a cleansing balm that makes your skin glow or a serum that makes you look instantly more radiant, or, in this case, a face mask that makes your skin go from dull to completely revived in ten minutes. And that, ladies and gents, is what we’re discussing today…

Starting with a newbie in the line of already famous masks, the new Origins Original Resurfacing Mask has a double whammy effect of brightening and cleansing. Due to it’s (somewhat unique) mix of pink clay and jojoba beads, this wonder product leaves skin feeling revived and renewed. I think this is a great option for those with combination or oily skin which often looks dull and needs a good weekly cleanse and scrub!

Next we have one I wanted to try for actual years but for some reason never got round to buying the Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque until it recently landed in my collection. It’s one of those masks that’s got a moisturiser-like texture, but doesn’t sink in at all. It uses a combination of vitamin to brighten your complexion and give it a huge boost, leaving it looking a bit more radiant and refined which is pretty darn good when you feel like your skin is looking a little worse for wear.

The final mask I have been loving using is the Anne Semonin Resurfacing Peel Mask. This has a more grainy texture than the previous two, which is good if you’ve forgot to exfoliate for a few days or reserve your scrub for just once a week. You smooth this over skin, leave for ten minutes and then I use small circular movements to give my skin an added boost with it having a scrubby texture. I then wash it off with a face cloth, leaving my skin brighter and silky smooth without feeling raw – it’s a good’un!

What do you use to give your skin a boost?
