Well hey. It’s not quite an outfit post, but it’s as close as I’ll get for now! Apologies for the lack of outfits, having a bit of a photographer issue right now but I should be back on track in the next two weeks or so, so stay tuned! As I don’t want this blog to be a beauty blog, I’ve been thinking of other ways to include style in my posts so, as I’m 100% down for Autumn to be here already, here’s three A/W outfits featuring the amazing Barbour International Waxed Jacket. I’m absolutely dying to wear it and will add a full length photo later on this evening – keep on reading for my outfit suggestions and a giveaway!
Outfit One: Black and Gold | I am a bit obsessed with black denim if you may or may not have noticed, so for this outfit I’ve paired my J Brand skinny black jeans with the Barbour jacket. For my top, I went with a grey oversized Gestuz tee, as I find this coat to be quite warm and a tee is sometimes enough in early Autumn! To compliment the gold buttons on the jacket, I opted for my gold Chloe studded boots, my vintage Chanel and a Michael Kors chunky gold watch. It’s laid back enough to throw on, but has a bit more detail so you feel put together!
Outfit Two: Casual | For those who don’t want to wear black, this second outfit incorporates mid-blue jeans by J Brand (which is my favourite brand for denim) and an oversized cream knit by H&M. I love pairing these two, as they’re a great combo and their tones are perfect for Autumn and go really well with the Barbour jacket. For shoes I went for my beige toned Isabel Marant boots and my D&G bag for a casual, easy going look.
Outfit Three: Comfy | Autumn always makes me want to curl up and be as comfortable as possible. It’s why I’m usually found in fur coats and huge scarves because comfort is my number one priority. I’m basically an old lady. Anyway, I picked up those Isabel Marant moccasin style shoes and they’re the softest suede and sheepskin lined, so I knew I had to base an outfit around them. I went for dark wash J Brand jeans, a Mango grey knit and my Proenza Schouler PS11 bag. I liked the mixed metal look in this, so it’s one I’ll definitely be wearing when the temperature drops.
