Tom Ford Lipstick: You know when you decide it’s about time you started using a new makeup brand, but also sort of don’t want to because it’s not exactly easy on your bank account? Well, sorry, let me introduce you to the start of my Tom Ford obsession. It started recently after receiving the lovely Lips and Boys lipstick in Tony and then with the recent addition of the beautiful Indian Rose lipstick and I feel like it’s sparked a new level of makeup love.

Bear with me for a second while I rant about the Tom Ford Lipstick(s), but have you seen the packaging? It’s oh so dreamy with the perfect amount of gold to give the ultimate luxe edge that I don’t think any other brand offers. It also has that perfect snap closure that I know every girl loves (even if you don’t admit it). Even the gift bags are luxurious! I’ve got a wishlist the length of my arm now…

Anyway, onto the lipsticks I actually picked up. I’d had my eye on the Tom Ford Lipstick in Blush Nude for a while, but wasn’t sure it would suit me until I swatched it – daaaayum, it’s such a beautiful shade on! The perfect pinky-nude shade and, as with every TF lipstick I’ve tried so far, it glides on like a dream and feels so comfortable when worn. I also picked up the Tom Ford Shine Lipstick in Sultry – not a formula I’d typically go for, as I’m not a fan of shiny lipsticks, but this gives a more satin look (like you’ve applied lip balm underneath) which doesn’t look too in your face. The shade is a pretty coral which I know I’m going to be wearing all S/S!
