Pretty Spring Makeup

I’m so glad the weather seems to be back to being sunny again! It makes me want to reach for the light wash denim, floaty tops and fresh, dewy makeup, so in today’s post I’m gonna talk about a few favourite bits which I’ll be wearing to go with the sunshine.

Starting with my base, I’m definitely going for the CC creams and tinted moisturisers now that my skin is basically clear! I love mixing these with the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow to really give skin some oomph and dewiness. I’ll either mix some into my base or wear it as a primer for an all over glow, but more often than not, I’ll put a swipe of Chanel Les Beige Healthy Glow Powder down my t-zone so I don’t look too much like I’m lit up like a Christmas tree!

On my cheeks I’ve been using & Other Stories Blush in Canvas Taupe, which is the most perfect dusty pink and goes with pretty much every makeup look. It’s a very natural shade and but can really tie a makeup look together! On my eyes, I love the Rosie for Autograph Eyeshadow Palette in I Feel Like A Million Dollars, which contains four very wearable and neutral shades that you can wear low-key or smoke out for a more dramatic look if you wanted to.

Finally, for lips, I am obsessed with pink-nude hues, so both the Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Curviest Caramel and the H&M Beauty Lipstick in Cream Chestnut are great picks for a paired down look. I’ve had both of these in my bag for a while now, but they both fulfill my need for pretty pinks that you can throw on and forget about!

What shades do you like wearing in Spring?
