C’mon guys, let’s just get it over with. You know berry lips are going to be everywhere – in every magazine, every blog, every selfie – so I thought I’d jump in early with my edit of the best berry lips to get you into the Autumn season. They’re possibly my favourite shade to wear as I find them incredibly flattering with my skintone, so hopefully you’ll be able to find one you love out of these five gems.

Starting at the bottom of the swatches, MAC Lipstick in Craving has been my favourite lipstick for a long time (which is a quite a bold statement considering I own about 60 lipsticks). It’s a pretty warm berry tone which can be worn subtly if you don’t want to go full vamp. Next in we have NARS Audacious in Charlotte which I reach for a lot, it’s extremely pigmented and leans to the raspberry side of things but it’s so gorgeous on! A staple shade in my collection.

Now, I’m not gonna stop talking about the Illamasqua Lip Lures any time soon and Jus is the most ideal shade for Autumn I think. You can read my full review here, but it’s such a gorgeous deep berry-red! Up next we have Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow Lip Pencil in Apollo which has been in my collection for a while and one I really like. It has a great wine undertone but doesn’t make you look dead like some lipsticks of this tone can, it’s very flattering and, paired with a gold eye and lashings of mascara, looks so beautiful in colder weather! Finally, we have the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Berry which I’ve discussed before here, but I think it’s a very accessible shade as it leans more pink-raspberry than the others and is quite bright. The formula and applicator of these is totally gorgeous too!

So that’s my berry lipstick round up – what shades do you love wearing at this time of year?
