You know when a piece of clothing sort of lands in your wardrobe and you wondered why you didn’t get it sooner? This is that jacket for me. ASOS asked me to pick something a while back for a little insta campaign for one of their collections, so I picked this. I contemplated it for so long as I wasn’t sure if it would be ‘me’ and I very nearly picked something else, but I’m oh so glad I went for this as it has been such a good item and I’ve loved wearing it.

I actually really love that puffer and quilted jackets are in right now as they feel nothing like they used to. Remember in the 90s where they were just huge, ugly and Michelin-man esque? Now they seem to have taken on a bit of a more chic look, paired with ultra skinny jeans and cool boots or trainers for a more scandi approach to the trend. It’s something I can totally get behind and I can see myself picking up a typical black puffer jacket before this Autumn is out.

What do you think about this trend?

Helen
