Autumn is my favourite time of year for fashion. I am a jumper and jeans girl at heart, so being able to wear my favourite types of clothes for months and not freeze/overheat is where I'm the happiest! I do, however, have to reel it in a bit when it comes to my A/W wardrobe, as I can easily go overboard with purchasing new items if I'm not careful. Who can resist a neutral knit? Not me.
So, I thought I'd share some inspiration and a little wishlist of items I'm looking to pick up this season in the hopes that it keeps my focus and I don't end up drowning in 50 pairs of new boots...
Wishlist
Shoes: Chelsea boots, knee boots and a small heeled boot
I've already found my ideal Chelsea boots in the form of these Vagabond ones. They're the perfect height and I'm already planning many outfits around them. I originally ordered these Proenza Schouler ones, but they were so clunky that I had to return them.
For knee boots, I love the Khaite Derby Boots but they're quite pricey, so we'll see if they come up on the pre-loved market or if I can find a dupe somewhere.
The Toteme Mid Heel Boots have been on my wishlist for a while but, as I know I won't wear them as much as flat boots, I'm only letting myself get them if I can find them for a good price pre-loved.
A Dark Beige Blazer
I would love to find a good blazer - new or vintage - in the perfect dark beige or camel tone for Autumn
Striped Jumper
It seem that striped knitwear is everywhere this season and I adore this Zara one but it wasn't quite right. There's also this pretty one from Toteme and there's loads on eBay too so I'll have to find the perfect one.
Funnel Neck Jumper: Camel and Black
Inspired by some of the photos below, I feel like a high neck jumper would really complete my wardrobe! I could pair it with so many jeans and leggings and it would look great on its own or peeking out from under a coat. I picked up this black one from Raey and it's made from the softest wool - I would highly recommend.
Neutral Coat
I already have a classic camel Max Mara style coat in my wardrobe, but I would love to add this Raey Oversized Wool coat to my collection. It's beyond perfect and I know I would treasure it for years and years.
A Good Carry Everything Bag
One thing I'm really lacking is a bag that can carry a lot of stuff. Sure, I have tote bags but I don't always want to carry two bags. I'd love one I could put my laptop, book, general day-to-day stuff in it wouldn't kill my shoulder. My dream would be the Bottega Veneta Small Jodie bag but I also really love the old Celine Hobo bag.
Jewellery
I really need to up my jewellery game this year, so I'll be picking up some long lasting pieces through the season.
