Pedicures are those things that people seem to dislike talking about on blogs. I’ll admit, I strongly dislike feet too, but you gotta take care of ’em, right? Plus, it’s nice to have pretty shades on your nails. I know pedicures are usually kept for the summer months, but there’s no reason why you can’t extend your manicure and get all matchy-matchy for Autumn.
If you’re wanting to go the full hog and really have a pamper night, this little kit from Simply Feet is right up your street. It contains four products; a file to buff away any unsightly skin, Gehwol Mother of Pearl Scrub to make your tootsies soft, a Simply Feet Foot Cream to keep skin hydrated and finally (not pictured as I couldn’t fit it in!) a pair of super comforting Gel Socks, which soothe tired feet. Not bad for one kit, ey? It’s nice to look after everything!
As for some pedi suggestions, I’ve went with my standard cool toned picks plus one little gem. I’ll start with that one and it’s the gorgeous & Other Stories Polish in Cordovan Wine, which is a beautiful dark plum-red. It’s oh so pretty and sophisticated on. Moving along the swatches, we have one of my favourites which is Nails Inc Gel Polish in Porchester Square, the most chic of all the light nude/lilac shades. I couldn’t not include a grey and this Ciate Mini Polish in Chinchilla is one I reach for not only for the colour, but for the lasting power too! Next is the classic white and I’ve went with Models Own Hyper Gel in White Light, as it applies so nicely. Finally, another Models Own Polish in In The Navy, which is a rich dark blue.
They’re all be perfect mani or pedi shades for AW and I for one am off to paint my nails! What colours are you wearing this Autumn?
