It’s that time again – beauty favourites time! Now, they may pop up sporadically, but I do quite like having a good think about products I’ve been using and loving. Today’s is a bit of a mix of skincare, haircare and bodycare and they’re all good’uns, let me tell you.
Starting with the only hair product, the Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo is hands down the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used! It literally sucks up all oil and grime, leaving hair feeling about 10x thicker and looking freshly washed. You don’t have to use loads of it either – my new holy grail!
Next is my new favourite every day cleanser and a little handy tool to use with it. The Origins Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser is a great lather up and wash off kinda deal which I use in the shower. It smells refreshing (like mint) and works really well with my combination skin, as it doesn’t strip it or leave it feeling dry. I’ve been using this once or twice a week with the Origins Facial Brush, which is a soft bristled brush which works the cleanser in and gives skin a bit of a mini exfoliation treat too!
I’ve got a bit of a thing for body washes and in shower treatments right now and the two above tick all right right boxes. Firstly, the LUSH Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly smells divine and the ribena-esque scent just makes me happy (as ridiculous as that sounds!). When I need a bit of a hydrating treat, I’ll go for the Soap and Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter as it really pampers the skin and it feels like you don’t need a moisturiser afterwards!
Buuut, if you want one, then my favourite is Nourish Nutri-Rich Body Cream which has an orange and mandarin scent. There’s a few in the range, but I’m obsessed with anything citrus, so I had to pick it! It’s a great body cream which hydrates well and sinks in quickly. I really rate it!
