Beauty Favourites #10

It’s beauty favourites times! I swear I could write one of these every single week to be honest, but let’s go through the beauty bits that I’ve been a bit addicted to over the past few weeks, shall we?

Starting with mascara, the MAC Pro Lash Beyond Twisted Mascara has been my go-to for a little while now for low-key daytime lashes. It’s definitely more of a lengthening than a thickening mascara, but due to the rigid wand, separates your lashes well and coats them nicely so they’re totally black. Plus, you can bend the wand into any shape you fancy, which makes it good for getting into those pesky corner lashes.

ps. I had absolutely no face makeup on for the photo below – just mascara and brows – guess the Roaccutane is working!

Another MAC product that I’m totally new to but really enjoying is the MAC Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel. Why must MAC always make these limited edition? Anyway, if you can get your mitts on it, then definitely do. It’s a beautiful blue-pink tone with a gold pearly finish which looks beautiful blended onto the tops of your cheekbones!

Everyone seems a bit obsessed with the Urban Decay summer collection, huh? I mean, it’s got good reason as the products are really quite stunning. I’ve been testing out the Urban Decay Afterglow Highlight in Aura (I’m a bit highlight obsessed right now…) and it’s such a gorgeous pearl-pink shade which really lifts cheekbones. It’s so finely milled that it’s easy to blend – so good! Another UD product I’ve been loving is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil in Heartless which, again, is a pearl-pink shade, but so perfect for the inner corner of your eye or even across your waterline to brighten up the whole area.

To go with the pinky theme, I’ve also had the Clinique Lip Pop in Nude Pop in my bag constantly for the last few weeks. This is just a mini one, but I really want more of the full sizes – no, I need them! They’re so easy to put on and feel insanely comfortable on the lips, too. So perfect for me and my currently uber dry lips!

Finally, we have a haircare product as I’ve been trying to use them more. I have naturally quite flat hair that can look a little lifeless at times, so I’ve been spraying in the L’Oreal Wild Stylers Mineral Powder Fixing Spray. It’s a volumising and texturising spray that has a matt finish which is always what I go for!

So that’s everything I’ve been loving the last few weeks – how about you?
