Beauty Favourites #12

Back with another beauty roundup for you today and it’s ended up looking a bit matchy matchy. I never know what to type in this little introduction, as I think it all seems pretty self explanatory. Readers, meet the products I’ve been loving recently…

Starting with perfume, the Jo Malone Velvet Rose and Oud Cologne Intense has taken the top spot in my collection as it’s just the most perfect scent. I’m really rubbish at describing perfume, but if you like really deep rose perfumes then this one is for you – definitely give it a sniff! I hated rose until I got this and now I can’t get enough. Slightly (read: massively) out of focus is the Antipodes Aura Face Mask which has been saving my poor, parched skin while I’m coming off Roaccutane. Deeply hydrating, this manuka honey mask works to inject some moisture back into your skin, leaving it plump and soft.

Onto makeup and I’m still adoring the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, as it gives my skin all the coverage it needs while making it look all glowy and perfected. I can see myself wearing this constantly this Summer! I’m very on and off with highlighter as I find that sometimes they don’t show up, but I am obsessed with the Topshop Glow Highlighter in Gleam as it blends beautifully (as a cream would) and gives such a pretty highlight to your face without you looking like a glazed doughnut. On my lips, I’ve went back to an old favourite, the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Catfight which is the best hot pink in the world! It’s so creamy, pigmented and just gives a stunning pop of true blue-pink fuchsia – I adore it.

Finally, since getting the Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara it’s pretty much been a firm favourite in my daily makeup bag. It gives me super dark and thicker lashes, adding the right amount of volume and enough drama for a daytime or nighttime look. I honestly can’t fault it! And finally we have a brand spanking new release in the form of the Lancome Grandiose Eyeliner, which you can bend to achieve the perfect cat flick. I only got this in the post yesterday, but immediately put it on to test it out as I love a good eyeliner and I can definitely vouch for it! It’s super black – ridiculously pigmented – and dries matte so you get an opaque, very precise flick that lasts all day. I’m really impressed!

What are you loving recently?
