Yay, makeup favourites. I do love having a look in my makeup bag for what I’ve been using the most, as it’s nice to give some appreciation back to the products that help you look alive when you want to crawl back into bed.
The Cover FX Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation has been working wonders for my complexion! I do love trying a new base so ‘oil free’ and ‘natural finish’ already ticked the right boxes before testing it out. This foundation applies smoothly, offers amazing coverage without being heavy and lasts all day without making my skin oily. The finish is really nice too, as it gives enough glow without looking shiny.
On my eyes I’ve been using a mix of old classics and some new pieces. MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study is never far from my makeup bag as, not only does it make the perfect base for makeup, but it’s the prettiest champagne shade! A palette I’ve been wearing non-stop is the gorgeous Bobbi Brown Greige Palette, after contemplating the purchase for a while I’m so glad I picked it up. It’s the perfect blend of neutral, cool toned hues with enough sparkle to cover both your daytime and nighttime looks. Finally, my go to daytime mascara has to be the W3ll People Expressionist Mascara. It gives my already long lashes some extra length, lots of definition, a deep black colour and a little volume. It’s a good all rounder for the office!
Finally, I’m back into using my NARS blush in Sin as it’s oh so perfect for this time of year. It’s a beautiful berry tone that looks gorgeous with the same tone lip, which is what I’ve been doing constantly this month! I can’t fault the NARS formula, they’re buttery soft and long lasting and the colour range is the best!
