It’s rare that I actually achieve a five product face, as I have my little routine of putting everything in my makeup bag on without fail. But recently, mostly due to cold mornings (ie not wanting to get out of bed), I’ve been short of time so have been applying the basics and running out of the door!
Starting with my base, the By Terry Cover Expert Foundation is one of my favourites to use. It offers medium-full coverage, but feels light on the skin and blurs imperfections like a dream. You don’t need a lot of it, but it allows for a natural finish which looks radiant without being shiny. Sort of a semi-matte inner glow, if you get me. After this, I blend in some Chanel Le Blush Creme De Chanel (Chanel Cream blush) in shade 62 Presage, which is a lovely bright coral shade. I only use a small amount for a natural flush!
On my eyes, I use my beloved NARS Narsissist Eyeshadow Palette, typically leaning towards the taupe or gold shades all over the lid and the darker browns in the crease. I adore this palette – so glad I picked it up! After this, I smudge some Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Perversion which is a very pigmented black. I love this liner, as it’s so creamy and blends well under the eyes and on the waterline. If I’m not doing a cat-eye flick, then I’ll always reach for this!
Finally, I dust over some By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder which is one of my favourites as it never looks cakey, especially when used under the eyes. It’s light, doesn’t add any colour yet offers an extra layer of skin perfecting, blurring blemishes and making the skin look more even.
