i am in love with this collection! i really adore paint pots and it’s quite rare that this many are released in one go. the thing i like about them the most is that they make fantastic bases, either to other eyeshadows or as a main colour and they stay put for the entire day. no transferring, creasing or smudging. i always put one on if i know i’m going to the gym as they refuse to budge.
onto the actual colours, i wore the copper shade today and oh my god it’s amazing. so pigmented and it reminds me of mary-kate olsen as she often does a coppery shade on the red carpet. i’m having a bit of a love affair with all darker shades of purple at the moment so i had to get hyperviolet. it’s definitely more of a nighttime shade, unless you use it as an eyeliner during the day but i can’t wait to try it out. my favourite has got to be the gold. so beautifully glittery without getting fall-out all over your face. it’s like reflects gold pigment but in a more wearable form. absolutely amazing, i’ll definitely be wearing this during the day as my fringe tends to hide heavier makeup so i might be able to get away with it!
i haven’t worn the lipstick yet but i am excited to try it. my friend amanda, who works at MAC, said that this lipstick stays all day so i’ll be putting it to the test on a day when i’m at uni.
