Beauty: The Makeup and Skincare Haul #3

You know when you’ve finished University, but you can still get student discount, am I the only person who feels the need to take full advantage of it, you know, just incase they take it away? That’s how I ended up with most of these pieces thanks to ASOS 20% off deal. Woe is my bank account…

Anyway, I tend to wear a finishing powder every day, as it helps set all of your makeup (especially if it’s a more creamy formula). Using quite a heavy under eye concealer requires a more fine powder, so it doesn’t look cakey and the NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder does the trick. It’s very finely milled and makes skin look so perfected.

TheBalm are a brand that’ve been on my radar for a while, but weirdly I’d never picked anything up from them until now. TheBalm Nude Tude Palette is the most perfect combination of shades which have amazing pigmentation and truly last all day. They’re buttery soft and blend so well, so, as you can tell, my first venture into the brand hasn’t been a disappointing one!

When I went into town the other day with my mum, we stopped by the MAC counter to buy my nana a lipstick (Russian Red, her signature shade) and I was distracted by the retro matte collection. Three of them made their way into my shopping bag (thanks mum for one of them!) and they were Relentlessly Red (a bright pink/coral), All Fired Up (a bright fuschia) and Flat Out Fabulous (a bright plum/pink). They’re all such gorgeous shades!

I’d had my eye on the Nails Inc Gel Polishes since they came out but, despite owning around 30 Nails Inc polishes, never bought one. I saw this shade on another blogger so decided the Nails Inc Gel Polish in Porchester Square had to come home with me. It’s the perfect nude/grey/lilac – perfect for days when you can’t decide what to wear.

Finally, there’s just one piece of skincare but by far one of the most important in my entire stash. I’ve been through two of the miniature 10ml rollerball’s in the past (which last ages, by the way) so when the full size landed on my doorstep I was so happy, especially as I was down to my last few drops. I won’t rant too much about the Balance Me Radiance Facial Oil, as I’ve talked about it so much before, but it really is a product everyone should own! It does wonders for the skin and has completely transformed mine.

So that’s everything I’ve picked up recently, what have you been buying so far this month?
