Hello! I noticed I was using quite a lot of the same products over the last week, so I thought I’d share some of the makeup that’s been taking over my makeup bag recently.
First up is the amazing Clinique Superprimer Colour Corrects Dullness. It’s a pinky, slightly pearly looking looking product on first application, but blends into skin giving it a huge boost. Under foundation it makes the skin just look so radiant and awake so it’s great to use first thing on a morning!
Next are the lovely Becca Beach Tints, which are a recent discover of mine despite owning one for months! They’re really fluid in texture, but nicely pigmented and easily blended, creating a lovely flush of colour. I have the shades Strawberry, which is a red shade and Papaya, which is a bright orange and they’re both so nice. Plus, you only need a tiny bit so a tube will last forever.
Onto my eyes I’ve been loving a MAC Paint Pot in Vintage Selection, which is a gorgeous neutral light gold with a slight shimmer. It’s great on its own or as a base with a darker shade in the crease. On my brows I’ve been using a new product which is Benefit Gimme Brow in shade Light/Medium. It’s a tinted gel which really fills out brows and creates a more defined arch in a few simple sweeps, making it such an easy way to do your brows! It stays put all day, too.
I’ve had some sort of corrector/concealer application revelation recently after asking what brushes people use to apply them on twitter. A few of you replied saying the Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush and it really works! It’s big and fluffy enough to really buff in a creamy textured product so makes my makeup go on so much better!
Finally, I’ve been using MAC Lady Danger Lipstick non-stop for about two weeks now and I can’t see myself stopping anytime soon. It’s such a gorgeous orange toned red which is so vibrant and I think it really suits my skintone. I adore it!
So they’re all of the bits I’ve been loving recently! I should really switch my makeup up a little, but they’ve all been working so well that I can’t force myself to use anything else on a day to day basis. What makeup have you been loving this week?
