BEAUTY: Makeup Favourites #2

As I’ve said before, I do try and swap the entire content of my makeup bag around every week so products are on constant rotation. There’s been a few new additions to the mix, so I’ll jot down some quick mini reviews of the beauties above. Keep awwn readin’…

I’ll start with the left side of the top photo. I’m back in love with the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation once more, as it’s rather skin perfecting. It is medium-full coverage and really stays put all day! Comparable to my beloved EL Double Wear (but not quite as amazing), so it’s one to check out if you’re going stateside any time soon. The NARS Audacious Lipstick in Vera is a new purchase from me (see my Space NK Haul here) and one I can see myself wearing pretty much non-stop in the next few months. I bought it thinking it was more of a berry, but on the lips it’s a really bold fuchsia and it’s just amazing! Go swatch it, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently received the Lancome Hypnose Mascara (see post here) and I’m really liking it! It gives my already long lashes a bit of fullness, makes them very black and I find it to be a great daytime mascara! Not too dramatic, but still a bit of oomph. Next, to make me look like I’m actually awake at my desk, I’ve been using the Sigma Beauty Inner Rim Brightener. It’s basically a skin coloured pencil you apply to your waterline, giving your eyes a more bright and revived appearance. Sounds gimmicky, but it works!

The Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder has been giving me actual cheekbones recently and I am rather grateful for it. Finally, a contour powder that looks natural and not orange! If you’re in the market for one, I’d totally head down to Space NK and give it a whirl. Another NARS product I’ve been in to once more is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I actually think the shade is too light for me, but used ontop of my corrector it does work wonders for my dark circles. I find it works really well on blemishes too, so is a good all rounder!

Finally, the rose gold beauties gracing the corner of the pic are from Sigma. Aren’t they gorgeous? Starting from the back I have the Sigma Large Angled Contour Brush F40, the Sigma 3DHD Precision Brush, the Sigma 3DHD Kabuki Brush, the Sigma Blending Brush E25 and the Sigma Eye Shading Brush E55. They’re all seriously impressive brushes, from seamlessly blending eyeshadow to really buffing in foundation. I want, no, need more Sigma brushes in my life now! I’ll probably do a more detailed post on these later.

What are you loving this week? Let me know! Don’t forget to enter my GHD giveaway too!
