Whenever an online store has a discount, I seem drawn to it like some sort of beauty moth to a flame. This is what happened when beautybay had 20% off recently, plus they already had some money off the things I wanted, so basically it was game over for my bank account.
I’ve wanted to try Jurlique for an absolutely age, but had no idea what to pick up as everything from the range sounds lovely. I opted for two pieces, the Jurlique Fruit Enzyme Exfoliator and Jurlique Soothing Foaming Cleanser. I’d be after a fresh feeling morning cleanser for a while, but couldn’t find one that suited as they all seemed too heavy for a quick cleanse. After reading Kate’s blog, the Jurlique one sounded perfect so it had to come home with me. I picked up the exfoliator as I love overnight treatments. They’ve made a huge difference to my skin, so I’ll be interested to see how this one compares to the others I have.
As a self confession facial oil addict (I know, shut up going on about them Helen), I decided to add the Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil to my collection. I used it twice on the day it arrived and I love how soft it leaves skin. I’ll be trying this over the next few weeks, so will be reviewing it in full shortly!
I’ve tried salt sprays in the past, but as I blow dry my hair and it’s naturally straight, I’ve never really noticed the effect of them. Nevertheless, I thought I’d give them another go and this time Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray is on the agenda. I love the healthy hair range (their leave in conditioning spray is wonderful and smells divine) so am excited to spritz it in my hair today.
Onto makeup, I’d wanted to try RMK Creaimy Foundation for months. Every time I looked on beauty bay, I would look at that heavenly looking texture and wonder if would work for me. Having failed to find many reviews, I just decided to take the plunge recently and I think I’m glad I did! I’ve only tested it for about 6hrs so far, but the consistency is a dream on the skin. It’s so luxe feeling and glides on smoothly, even when just using fingertips. Review in full coming up soon! Another base (kindly sent to me) is the Balance Me BB Cream, which on first swatch seems like the perfect, dewy light base. It has SPF25 too, which is great to protect your skin as the weather gets warmer. Excited to try it properly.
One thing I love about beautybay is that you get free samples with your order which you can pick! And I don’t mean a tiny sachet of cleanser from a brand you’ve never heard of, I mean big name brands and really decent samples! I got the Eyeko Skinny Mini Liquid Eyeliner which is only slightly smaller than the full size. I’ve tried it on the back of my hand and it seems lovely, so will be comparing it to my staple Stila pen.
Expect to see all of these on my blog in various posts soon, as I have a feeling I’m going to love them all. So glad to finally have got my mitts on some of these, as a lot have been on my wishlist for such a long time. Have you bought anything recently? Or tried any of the things I’ve picked up?
