BEAUTY: The NARS Narsissist Eyeshadow Palette

Hello! I’ll be honest with you all about something, I’m a failure of a self confessed beauty junkie. I wasn’t even aware NARS Narsissist Palette was coming out until I saw some fellow beauty bloggers freaking out about being on the site on Twitter. So, as I’m a curious little thing, I went on the NARS site and instantly fell in love. Yes, the price (£55!) is a little high, but I know the quality of NARS shadows are phenomenal and that I’d get my moneys worth out of it. I think it’s sold out on the NARS site, but I know it’s out for six months so don’t despair if you didn’t grab one first time round.

The NARS Narsissist Palette has 15 shadows, a combination of matte and shimmer shades, housed in their usual sleek packaging. It’s a lot bigger than I was expecting, but still small enough for it to be travel sized. The colour selection ranges from soft peach, to lilac taupe, to deep browns and moody blues. There’s a great variety of every day shades in here so there’s definitely something for everyone!

As soon as I got the NARS Narsissist Palette, I had to get it on my lids as fast as possible. So using the shade Lhasa, a lilac-grey (bottom row, 2nd from left) all over the lid and blending a combination of Bali, a matte brown (top row, 4th from left) and Brousse #2, a dark violet, into the crease, this is the look I came up with. I applied a small amount of All About Eve #1 (top row, first from left) into the inner corner as a highlight too, as it’s such a pretty shade for that. It’s so easy to find a great every day look from the NARS Narsissist Palette as the colours are all so lovely.

So that’s my makeup look with the new NARS Narsissist Palette! I think it’s well worth the money for the amount of product you get and how many looks you could achieve from it.

Did you pick up the NARS Narsissist Palette? Do you fancy getting it?
