Nope, I still haven’t had a sneaky trip to America, but luckily my boyfriend’s mum jetted over and kindly offered to pick me up some bits and pieces. After trips to three different Sephora’s (I’m so sorryyy) my little haul was complete and my boyfriend handed me the little black and white striped bag the other day. Cue angel singing etc etc. As you can imagine, today’s post is all about the bits I picked and, while I didn’t go all out, I certainly got some beauties!
I’ll start with the one and only skincare product (Helen, what’s wrong with you? I know, I know) which is the dreamy Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream. Hailed as a wonder moisturiser for sensitive skin and highly recommended by Mrs Hirons, I just had to try it! It has a really unique pump, so you waste no product and it’s very hygienic – I’m excited to smother my face in it and will report back once I’ve tested!
Now, the lip products, arguably the best bit right? I had to get some Sephora Lip Cream Stains, as they’ve reached somewhat cult status in blog world. I went for 01 Always Red for a classic look and 10 Mandarin Muse for my staple orange summer lip! They really are as indestructible as people make them out to be so they’ll stay put all day! Finally, I got a Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Cream in shade Sancerre, which is a beautiful raspberry pink. It seems quite similar to the Sephora ones, but I’m still equally as excited. I mean, that shade for Spring? Heavenly.
Another well known and raved about product is the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in shade Trooper, which is an intense black. I adore my pen eyeliners, so had to give this a whirl! It’s got a very precise nib, which hopefully means I can get some serious cat flicks on the go!
The last is sadly not something for me, as I already have it, buuut the Lorac Pro Palette will be in a giveaway later in the year! I might do a Sephora themed USA one for my three years of blogging celebration on the 15th May, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
