This may not seem like a big deal, but sticking to one brand (and only two ranges) is a pretty big thing for me. I enjoy switching up my skincare and using different brands, but hey, when something works it works. I am, of course, talking about Elemis, a brand I’ve loved for a while but never used religiously day in day out. Until now. I am in love with what this routine has done for my skin! It’s brighter, clearer and (apart from when I eat lots of sweets or dairy) I’ve been pretty blemish free too. So, I’ll give you the low-down on what I’ve been using and how it’s worked for me.
For cleansers, I’ve been using my standard ones though I can vouch for the Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash, as it’s really good at brightening the skin as a second cleanse. My main focus in this routine is definitely post-cleanse treatments and the first one I always slap on is my eye cream. The Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal is a lovely light gel-like product, which glides over the eye area (a little goes a long way) leaving it hydrated and feeling comfortable. It’s a lovely eye cream for the day time, as it sinks in quite fast and acts as a good base for makeup.
Next, on a morning and a night, I’ve been using the Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Serum which I positively adore. I’m all for any products with ‘resurfacing’ in the title, as my skin is quite dull and often gets congested, so this one ticks all of the boxes. The serum, again, is light and you need less than one pump for your whole face. I really think this has made my skin more radiant, as it’s quite powerful stuff!
For my daytime moisturiser, I’ve been using the cult Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream which always comes with such high ratings. I love using this on a morning, as it doesn’t feel thick or heavy on the skin, yet offers a huge boost of moisture and radiance. It’s just a great all-rounder I think! On a night, I opt for the Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Night Cream, which really does leave my skin brighter and clearer by the next morning. It’s a much thicker, but again doesn’t feel heavy and feels very luxe on the skin!
Do you love a particular brand? Or have any more Elemis recommendations for me?
