Hello! I should be back to blogging properly from today onwards, so no more posting every other day. Thought I’d share some of my current skincare favourites as they’ve crept their way into my regular routine and have made quite the positive impact on my complexion.
First, two cleansers which I’ve been using as a first and second cleanse. Organic Surge Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser is great as a first cleanse to remove makeup and leave skin feeling super soft. I love creamy textured cleansers on an evening, so this one fits the bill perfectly. Next I apply a good amount of Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser to my fingertips and really spend a good minute or two working it into skin. It’s a clay based, sort of gritty, cleanser so makes your skin feel smooth and more refined. Perfect if you’re having dull skin day! I tend to use it about three times a week, as more than that irritates my sensitive skin.
A always try to use a purifying mask once or twice a week to keep my skin in check and recently I’ve been picking up Elemental Herbology Facial Detox Mask. It’s your standard clay based mask, but for some reason (no idea of the science behind it!) it just seems to work exceptionally well with my skin!
As you may well know, facial oils are a big thing in my routine and the latest one in my collection is REN Vita Mineral Omega 3 Serum Oil. It’s quite a lightweight oil and sinks in well to skin, it smells divine too (kinda like citrus) And leaves skin plumped up and hydrated. I follow this with Clarins Daily Energizer Cream which I’ve recently went back to using. It’s a really nice moisturiser which isn’t too heavy for my combination skin, and helps to boost up the skin’s radiance. It’s not badly priced, either!
So they’re all of the skincare products that’ve been keeping my skin in check over the past few weeks! Three are rediscoveries so it’s nice to familiarise myself with some old favourites. I’m excited to continue using the hot cloth cleanser as I feel like it’s doing wonderful things for my skin, especially as it’s such a decent price too!
