Hello! Today I have a little selection of makeup that have been adorning my face recently. I’m not sure if I’ve been Valentines Day inspired, but all I seem to want is girly pink tones. Very unlike me! So, I’ll go through my current most used products to inject a lil’ bit o’sweetness into yo life.
Starting with my base, I’ve been opting for a slightly lighter, more dewy finish and Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat fills that quota. It’s a buildable, more natural looking foundation that creates quite a soft focus effect on the skin! Perfect for good skin days.
Neutral, gold or taupe shadows are something I reach for 99% of the time so the NARS Kalahari Duo Eyeshadow is the perfect option. It has two really lovely neutral, shimmery shades that blend seamlessly together like all NARS eyeshadows seem to! Plus I can’t resist the sleek black packaging so I’m glad I picked this one up.
For cheeks I’ve been obsessed with a new release from Benefit. Now, I’ve never used any of their tints before (yet bought one for my sister, should probably steal it back!) but the Benefit Lollitint is fast coming one of my favourite sweet-toned blush. It’s a sugary pink shade and, as you can see, is in a liquid form. You just have to dot the product onto your cheeks and blend for a cute blush that looks natural yet bright enough for a bit of impact.
To finish off my face, I’ll dust over a light layer of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light, which makes your skin have that ‘lit from within’ glow without being too shiny. Then I’ll slick on either Lipstick Queen Hot Rose Sinner, an amazingly bright blue toned hot pink or Topshop Macaroon, a soft pinky shade to complete the look.
I just had to include an extra picture of the sweet things Benefit sent along with their new Benefit Lollitint release! Nothing like sweets to cheer up a dreary January! So, that’s all of the products I’ve been loving using recently to create a soft, girly look.
What do you think of the new Benefit Lollitint? Any sweet products you like using?
