I’ve switched my makeup bag again, as I try to every week just to get through my whole stash, so today I’m sharing what’s in the latest rotation. They’re all well loved and trusted products, so I hope you find some new favourites yourself.
The Clarins Instant Light Complexion Perfector is a long term favourite of mine if my skin needs a boost. I use this like a primer under more matte foundations to make them have a natural finish and add some lit-from-within glow to my skin. It’s a gorgeous product! The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation has been back in my makeup bag again and I’ve remembered why I loved it when I first got it. It’s medium coverage, offers a satin-natural look and sits really nicely on the skin. I really love it and would repurchase it again and again.
I’ve been really into Illamasqua products right now, especially their blushes, so the Illamasqua Cream Blush in Dixie has been on my cheeks quite a lot! It’s a beautiful warm coral, sort of like a watermelon shade, with a cream finish to blends well for a bit of colour. With the coral tones in this, I’ve reignited my love for MAC Lipstick in Lady Danger, which is a beautiful orange-red. It’s one of my all time favourites and I’ve featured it alot, so I won’t go on too much!
Finally for my eyes, I’ve found my theBalm Nude ‘Tude Eyeshadow Palette, which has the perfect combination of everyday, wearable shades, making it a great option. I love ‘selfish’ as it’s a pretty cool toned taupe shade, but the pigmentation means it packs a serious punch. It’s a great palette to have! The Clinique High Impact Mascara is possibly my all time favourite mascara, as it adds volume and drama to my lashes, without making them look spidery. It doesn’t flake and I’ll probably buy it 10x over, as it can do no wrong!
