asos has been running a 25% off (i think) ‘party’ clothes and these three items fell into the category. additional to this, i got an extra 20% off as a sorry for screwing up my last order.
first of all, the boots look more navy but in reality they are a rich jewel toned purple with a gold metal strip at the back. i told myself i’d only buy shoes that i can walk in, but these wanted me to buy them plus they actually aren’t too bad once they’re on.
next, the pink trousers are amazing, they fit really well and i think i’ll team them with wedges and a black coat for day time. the blue ones, on the other hand, are not so good in person. they’ve got this woven effect to the material, which i dislike and when they’re on i felt like i was wearing a cheap, air hostess outfit. they’re definitely going back.
i’m excited to wear the boots and forcing myself to get used to wearing higher heels. i’m ok with about a 3 inch heel for every day wear, so these are definitely a new challenge. respect to those who wear super high heels all the time!
