collection: autumn/winter 2012/13 review part II

elie saab – beautiful use of monotone in this show, i love the jumpsuit in the first photo with all of my heart.
john galliano – i loved how luxe all the materials were that he used. i especially love the use of red and black, even though i usually hate that combination. i’m converted.
gambattista valli – the checked prints are simply lovely aren’t they? i can’t think of any other adjective other than ‘lovely’ for this entire show.
jean paul gaultier – leather jackets. check. slouchy trousers. check. metallics. check. this all makes me very happy.
haider ackermann – i must admit, i hadn’t paid much attention to this brand in the past, but i absolutely adore the hemlines, the fitted waist and colour palette.
mary karantzou – like haider ackermann, miss karantzou was another brand i hadn’t paid much attention to. but i will be definitely be looking forward to her future shows as the prints are fantastic.
miu miu – rich jewel tones are always, without doubt, high on my list of things i will always love forever and ever, so miu miu wins my affection with this collection.
moschino cheap and chic – moschino are always put out fun collections and i think i might be in love with that blue leather jacket. oh god it’s perfect.
vivienne westwood – as a big time lover of vivienne westwood, her shows never disappoint me. beautifully tailored and always flawless. congrats to you, miss w.
