Who wishes Colourpop would come to the UK already? Hey, we’ve only just got NYX and Kat Von D, so I shouldn’t hold my breath for that happening any time soon, huh? They did, however, have a free international shipping day on recently so me, Amy, Alice and Chloe decided to share an order and get our lipstick (and highlighter) fix on this side of the pond.

I’ve wanted to try the Colourpop matte and satin liquid lipsticks for quite a while now as they’re always hyped on Instagram, plus the colour range is pretty darn amazing. I picked up two matte and two satin to test them out and I was clearly feeling the rosy/pinky/red tones when I was ordering them! Starting with the satin finishes, I went for the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Baracuda (brown-rose) and Calypso (muted peach) which I like, Baracuda looks a lot more rosy in the tube but is much browner when applied so I’m not sure if I suit it yet! For matte, I went for the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Bumble (peachy-rose, much darker irl) and Bad Habit (deep raspberry) – these two are definitely my favourite and I can’t wait to try them out! Both formulas are very pigmented, very long lasting (the swatches stayed on for ages) and so reasonably priced – $6, you literally can’t go wrong!

I also picked up a Colourpop Highlighter in the shade Wisp which is a very pretty champagne shade. I really like the formula of these as they’re gorgeously smooth and velvety, so they blend oh so well. No doubt you’ll see them all in selfies soon!

Have you tried Colourpop before?
