Gettin’ Cosy

Coat: Chloe (similar-ish, alt) | Jumper: La Redoute | Jeans: Weekday | Boots: Chloe | Bag: Phillip Lim | Belt: idk, Primark or something

We took these outfit photos last on a particularly chilly day so I titled this one ‘getting cosy’ because that’s exactly what I was doing. Some outfit sfeatured just a blazer and a thin top, so it was a bit of a blessing to throw a coat on to take these (and then go for hot chocolate). Chloe and I shot these near my flat in this old 13th-century building which had the prettiest courtyard as all of the leaves were on the ground. I’m so going to miss this when I move to a reasonably residential area next Jan/Feb! I’ll just have to drag my bag of clothes into town…

Anyway, rambling aside, I picked up this Chloe coat (at TK Maxx and therefore it was a bargain) a few years ago now and I always drag it out when I want to be ultra cosy. I love wearing it belted up as I think the oversized shape just hangs really nicely and looks amazing with ankle boots. Such a great purchase and one I will probably keep for years and years. I also threw on a cashmere jumper I got a while back as I had completely forgot how amazing cashmere is. If it wasn’t such a pain to wash, I would have an army of cashmere goodness in my wardrobe. Even if my boyfriend looks at me like I’m weird when I’m sat hugging myself on the sofa. Totally worth it. Oh and these are my first venture into high-waisted jeans for the first time since I was in college. I’m still torn between ‘they’re nice’ and ‘they make me look like a potato’, but I’m rolling with it at the moment.

To finish off this post, I just wanted to say I hope you have an amazing weekend!
