Hello! As a skincare addict, this post was one that I was excited to put together. Christmas is such a great time for little gift sets and getting more products at a bargain price, so I’ll be sharing a few of those little kits plus some extras!
First up an amazing set of three products from Yon-Ka, which comes in a cute little gift bag (not photographed). There’s a few sets available, tailored to your skin type (plus a one for the body), and I picked the one for normal-oily skin which also focuses on brightening, as my skin is combination/dull.
First up, the Yon-Ka Pamplemouse is a light yet hydrating daytime moisturiser with a delicious citrus scent. I’ve been using this for the past week or so and it’s been so nice to apply!
Next is the Yon-Ka Phyto 58 night cream which is supposed to help with dull, tired skin. It’s an intensive, yet quite light, cream which has a slight herby scent but really does what it says on the tube! The next morning my skin looks bright and plump, so I’d really recommend it.
Finally, the Yon-Ka Mask No1 is something my boyfriend has been sampling for dry skin, as it’s a mix between a mask and a moisturiser (you’re just supposed to blot off any excess after 20-60mins), but really seems to have worked to help hydrate his skin!
The next two little sets are from Dermalogica and are great way to try the brand without investing in full sized products. First is a set is the Daytime Radiance kit, which contains a Skin Perfect Primer, the Multivitamin Power Firm Mask and Dynamic Skin Recovery. I’ve always wanted to try the mask, so I’d be happy to find it in my Christmas stocking. The other kit comes in a little pouch and has their Daily Microfoliant, Special Cleansing Gel and an Eye Cream. There’s lots of skincare sets on beauty900, so be sure to check them out.
Finally, the skincare extras are Kiehl’s Poweful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate, which is one of my favourite nighttime treatments for really brightening the skin and smoothing your complexion. Used with Kiehl’s Line Reducing Eye Brightening Concentrate, they make a great team. The eye cream really works to help with dark circles (and oh lawd do I need that) and keeps the eye area hydrated! Kiehl’s have so many great gift sets on their site at the moment, too! The last thing I’ll mention is a heavenly product by the name of REN No1 Purity Cleansing Balm, which is a gorgeous to massage in and removes all traces of makeup. It’s an amazing product! REN always have lots of little tester packs for each skintype and they’re well worth getting!
So, there’s a few little pieces to give you some ideas if you need a present for a skincare addict. I would highly recommend the Yon-Ka Phyto 58 when used together with Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate – it makes for very clear, smooth looking skin! It’s my favourite current nighttime combination.
