hello! i don’t think i’ve ever posted my monthly favourites before, as i didn’t want to just add mine to the thousands of similar posts. buuuuut, as i now do youtube videos (i still feel slightly ridiculous saying that), it’s pretty standard, so, well, here’s my input

how come i’ve got a reasonably respectable thumbnail on my actual youtube channel, but it decides to pick the worst one to put on here? sigh.

first up is makeup and i would have added so many other things to this list, but i tried to cut it down to just five.

MAC lipstick in so chaud: a recently purchase, but i am absolutely in love with it. it’s a bright orange toned red and looks stunning with a neutral outfit.
laura mercier silk creme foundation: such a great medium coverage foundation with a natural finish. i adore the look of this on my skin when i want a bit more of an even look or if i’m having a rubbish skin day. definitely one of my makeup staples.
l’oreal lash architect mascara: as i already have long lashes, this really separates them and adds volume without making them look ridiculous.

illamasqua nail polish in snap: a metallic grey/silver shade that i bought in their sale! it’s gorgeous on the nails and looks perfect with topshops panther glitter over the top (which you can see here)

topshop lipstick in sartorial: this has been my most worn lipstick since i bought it the other week. it’s a gorgeous peachy red tone and it has great staying power. i literally can’t fault topshop makeup in any way, everything i’ve tried has been a success.

next is body, skin and hair products. i was going to cut it down, but i physically can’t do it so here’s what i’ve been loving:
lush happy hippy shower gel: a fruity smelling, uplifting shower gel that is one of my favourite products from lush!
ole henriksen lemon strip: a great brightening mask that uses fruit enzymes to exfoliate the skins surface, like one of those AHA treatments but works in 10 minutes. such a great little beauty treat.
vaseline cocoa radient body oil gel: takes forever to sink in, but it’s totally worth it for how it makes your skin feel. can’t even describe how soft and supple it makes your skin.
kiehl’s midnight recovery concentrate: my star purchase for this month, i reckon! literally feels like velvet and i’m not exaggerating, it’s really that gorgeous on the skin. buy it!
KMS paste up spray: one of the best volumising products i’ve ever used. i spray it in towel dried hair and it just makes your hair feel so thick, without making it feel horrible.
ole henriksen vitamin plus cream: one of the most lovely moisturisers i’ve used in a very long time. smells slightly herbal, but it sinks in so well and keeps skin hydrated all day.
emma hardie moringa cleansing balm: i wasn’t bothered about this when i first got it, but if i use it once or twice a week it seems to balance my skin and keep it in a better condition.
first aid beauty oatmeal mask: if you have dry, dehydrated or stressed out skin, this works so well to make your face soft and smooth. i love using it!
