I always look forward to a trip to Lush as it’s basically my happy place. If my house could permanently smell like the Lush shop, I would be a ecstatic. So, you can imagine my distress when the shower gel of my favourite scent in the world, The Comforter, was made a London exclusive? All that blackcurranty goodness at the other end of the country… Then I heard they were releasing those items to stores and I was so happy (pathetic, I know, but shh) so I had to make a trip to pick up a few bits and bobs…

Starting with the obvious choice: Lush The Comforter Shower Cream. Aside from being the best magenta shade ever, this bottle of dreams is the most wonderful thing to use on a morning. It’s like a ribena hug, perfectly fruity and sweet but oddly comforting (suppose that’s why it has its name, ey) so I had to pick up the biggest bottle they had, obviously.

Some other shower products made their way home with me too. Lush Yuzu and Cocoa Shower Cream is chocolate orange scented, a perfect blend of sweet and citrus and, despite having never had a sniff of it previously, I instantly put it in my basket. There’s just something so nice about it! I also picked up the Lush Beautiful Shower Gel, which, again, is fruity (can you sense a theme here?) and warm, with apricots and peaches. I can’t wait to use it!

As my new flat has a bath that’s actually clean and nice, I’m definitely gonna be having more baths in AW. I snapped up the Lush The Comforter Bubble Bar as, well, see above. I can’t not pick it up every time I visit Lush! The girl who served me made a nice comment about me picking up both the Lush Yuzu and Cocoa Bubbleroon and the shower cream, as she assumed I was obsessed, but I genuinely couldn’t help myself! Possibly my favourite bath buy is the Lush Brightside Bubble Bar, which smells just like orange sherbet. I can’t actually deal with how good it smells, like – mmmm! Get your nose down to Lush immediately for that one.

Finally, a staple in my skincare collection is the Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask. I recommend this to anyone who will listen, as it works wonders if your skin is irritated, congested, blemish prone, oily or just needs a bit of soothing TLC. The blueberries and clay combo works so well that I have to buy this mask over and over again!

So that’s it for my rather fruity themed Lush haul – do you like any of these products?
