First of all, I just want to say my skirt wasn’t that short. The wind kept blowing it up, which makes it look like it barely covers my bum but I promise it’s actually an acceptable length! The wind is also why I have such an annoyed face, as it was both creating havoc with my hair and it was freezing! I’m actually glad my memory card died halfway through so I could go back to my flat and warm up – brr! These are also my boyfriend’s first attempt at taking outfit photos for me and, apart from a bit of blur, he did an alright job I think!
Anyway, the outfit… I think it’s the first time I’ve worn a skirt in a looong time but I’m totally warming to the idea of it (which is good considering I’ve bought two recently!). I really like the whole short skirt and oversized top look, so it just flares out at the bottom as I think it’s quite a cute ensemble! Speaking of skirts, the ones at George are really cute this year – I’m excited to see what else they bring out. I also really love this trench coat, it’s like the coat I always wanted but could never find. It’s really lovely material too and an absolute bargain!
Today is basically the weekend now – yayy for bank holiday! – so I’m very excited! I’ve got four days of eating nice food as it’s our three year anniversary tomorrow plus a whole load of baking and blogging! Expect an Easter recipe or two heading your way…
