jumper: topshop / boots: isabel marant / bag: celine / shorts: primark / bracelets: asos, vintage, ebay / watch: MK
the amount of regret i felt wearing this jumper on such a hot day was insane. it wasn’t so bad going to the boys house on the evening, but as i decided to throw it on the next day too, it was such a mistake.
we didn’t actually get food together for once (such is the tradition) but just chilled out at his. it was much too warm to do anything else! talking about food though, we discussed making a food review blog together as we eat out quite a lot. there are plenty of lovely (and some quite awful) restaurants in newcastle so we’d have a lot to write about, but we’ll see if anything materialises.
the next day i went into town (see below for some purchases) and had to go for M&S for a strawberry milkshake. i got a meal deal thing with this too, so i opted for a falafel and halloumi burger. that’s healthier than a normal burger, right?
apart from that, i don’t really have much to say, sorry guysss. i think i might be going out with my friend tomorrow, but as it’s ramadan at the moment, i might not be able to go to my beloved nandos. devastated is an understatement.
i’m helping look after my niece and nephew for most of the holidays while my sister is at work and my bro-in-law is in london with the olympics (he’s just helping out, not an athlete or anything exciting haha).
it’s really hard work keeping a hyperactive five year old occupied, so we decided to make gingerbread men on monday. she decorated them with icing and then stuffed 60% of them in her face. i only got to eat one!
i ventured into primark for a makeup bag and left with everything but. these six necklaces, a black skater skirt and a dress came to the till with me. i think the neon yellow necklace is my favourite followed by the orange/coral one in the middle. the latter was only £2 too, and after seeing lily in it, i knew i had to have it.
ps. i should be announcing the winner of my giveaway in the next post so keep checking back for that!
