today: hunted down zara coat

coat: zara (similar here) / top (similar here) and jeans (here): topshop / boots: isabel marant (here and similar here) / bag: D&G / watch: MK (here)
these photos were taken on my old camera, hence them not being as shiny and new as recent ones!

this coat had been on my mind ever since i saw it on pinterest. twitter was consulted, as always, as to who it was by and my fingers were firmly crossed that it wasn’t designer. so, when it came back as being from zara, i was actually relieved as it could be vaguely attainable.
but, like every items of clothing that i love, there was one problem: it had turned into a ‘must have’ item and therefore was sold out everywhere. thus started the hunt in my local zara store, ebay (£250? no thank you sir) and online to see if i could find it. it was only on the off chance, when i went to the metrocentre with my uni friends, that four of them were just sitting there on the rail. i honestly couldn’t get to the till fast enough and have worn it practically every day since.

that’s one plus of being from up north, no one buys the ‘must have’ items like they do in london. remember that floral shirt everyone went mental over last year? i went to the sale several days late and there was at least seven of them left, in a variety of sizes too. god bless you unstylish north-east haha.

this is possibly the most materialist sounding post i’ve ever written on here, but it’s so nice when you find something you’ve been after for ages. or, as i like to call it, fashion fate.

have you ever found anything like that?
