Hello! Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend. As you may know, earlier in the week my friend and I went for a little shopping trip in Manchester. We eventually hunted down the amazing Home Sweet Home, after trying to find it last time and failing, and it didn’t disappoint. Their cookie milkshakes are phenomenal and I now wish I could drink them every day (and not end up being 20 stone) plus the cookies are homemade, so we had to order some to take home. As for what we actually ate, I opted for a pulled pork pile up, which was pulled pork with BBQ sauce ontop of a load of sweet potato fries. Jina got a halloumi and falafel wrap with spicy potato skins on the side, which I had to steal some of as it was pretty darn good. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re ever in Manchester!
The rest of the day was spent wandering around the shops and pretending I could afford things in Chanel. I tried on the lust-worth Chanel Boy bag and I was so sad to put it back, but as I haven’t got a spare £2.5k there was no other option. Sob etc. I’ve fell in love with a bag from Mulberry and one from Vivienne Westwood, so I’ll be saving for the rest of my life for those (buying things from my blog sale would help though!). I bought a couple of things, so I’ll try to film a little youtube video to show you all what I picked up on the day and over the past month or so.
Anyways, as Sunday is always a lazy day and I was supposed to be at work (thank you shift changes), I’ll be spending it reading blogs, lusting after things I can’t afford and contemplating what to eat. Fun times.
