Hello! Recently I was asked to select two things from the Bonprix website to style up around a ‘fashion week’ theme. The idea was to choose some outfits I’d wear for a weekend away (so they have to fit into a small travel bag) so I went for three ways I’d wear the pieces I picked!
First up is a really simple outfit and probably wishful thinking with the whole getting my legs out thing, but when I think of my favourite style pieces I automatically go for leather shorts. I just think they work so well with so many things in my wardrobe and I can’t wait for spring and summer so I can wear them all the time! I paired it with a basic jumper and I love the length of the coat with this outfit too.
I know this is probably a really boring outfit, but when I read ‘Paris fashion week’ in the email I immediately thought of stripes. I seem to be quite obsessed with stripes recently, as I now have about 6 striped jumpers in my wardrobe but they just work so well as a basic item to throw on when you can’t think of what to wear! I do love a good pretty much all black outfit and you all know how much I adore my black jeans, so this outfit was a given! I like how the leather of the bag and the boots gives the look a bit of texture too. Plus, a statement lip ties it all in too!
As all of my other outfits are quite plain, I thought I’d go for a statement pattern dress for my final look. Obviously I decided to keep in with my minimal shade theme, but I love this dress for a bit more of an impact! I think it goes with the boots quite well too and they’re so ridiculously comfy! I know they’re not the highest of heels or anything, but I thought that would be more practical for a weekend away if you’re walking around. Seriously though, so comfortable! I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of them.
So they’re the three looks I went for. The longer length black coat is such a wardrobe staple and the material is nice to wear (it’s not too heavy either, perfect for Spring!). I could definitely fit them all into a little weekend bag, feel comfortable all weekend and change up the knits if need be. Let me know what you think!
