today: tiger and a mini beauty haul

shirt: vintage (similar here and here) / jeans: topshop (here and similar here) and shoes: topshop (similar here and here) / bag: vivienne westwood (similar here) / watch: MK (similar here)

i dragged this bag out of the depths of my wardrobe as i genuinely forgot i had it. it’s a few years old now and originally bought from ebay for a bargain price (£80!). since i’ve seen a million fake/tacky vivienne westwood bags around on ebay and on the arms of various charvers, i put it to one side for a while. but now it’s back, baby. jeez helen, what a thrilling story about your bag.
i wore this somewhat simple (boring) outfit to go buy all my giveaway items and the things below the other day and regretted wearing long sleeves, as always. i wish this humid weather would sort itself out and such other boring statements. the buttons on this shirt don’t really go all the way to the bottom, so when the wind was blowing i was flashing my love handles to the world. it was not a pretty sight, trust me.
anyways, onto the mini reviews…

invisible pores detox mask from REN: (see here) i always faithfully use lush’s catastrophe cosmetic fresh mask, but they had none left so i caved/panicked and bought this one instead. i’ve used it once and it genuinely made a huge difference to my skin. my pores didn’t vanish but they did look smaller, and my skin was more matte and clear the next day. i’d definitely recommend it! i also got a mini sample of their hydra-calm cleansing gel, which i may take to the boys house to try.
purity cleanser by philosophy: (here) oh, i can’t recommend this enough. if you want all your makeup gone in one go and to be left with smooth, moisturised feeling skin, go buy some! this is my third bottle now and it’s worth every penny.
vaseline cocoa radiant body oil gel: takes a little while to sink in (approx 1hr+) but it leaves your skin feeling so soft, even after two more showers. it’s buy one get one free in boots at the moment and smells absolutely amazing.
original source shea butter and honey shower stuff: my beloved vanilla birthday cake body wash (philosophy again, click here) eventually ran out after eight months of using it 3-4 times a week. eight months, you guys. so worth the investment. i nearly replaced it with another philosophy mimosa one, which smells like oranges but i told myself to get a grip an buy this cheapy one for now. works fine, smells alright, prefer the lime one though.
revlon just bitten kissable balm stain: (is there any need for such a long title?) in shade ‘crush’, which is a dark berry colour. my favourite MAC lipsticks are craving, hang-up and rebel so it’ll fit right in my little purple-toned collection. it works fine, stays on for a while but i hate the smell! it’s all menthol and just not my cup of tea (though i hate tea anyways, so it must be pretty bad all round)

ps. don’t forget to enter my giveaway here! it’s international and has two prizes! who doesn’t love some free stuff, so go go go! (…or keep scrolling to see what you could win)
