Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection

I’ve had this for a week or so now and I still can’t get over how beautiful the Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass makeup collection is. Nothing tips me over the edge of buying something than the packaging and UD definitely hasn’t fallen short of that with these beautiful products!

To celebrate the new Alice Through the Looking Glass film coming out later this year, Urban Decay have created a stunning eyeshadow palette and five lipsticks to match the vivid colours and imagination of the movie itself. I adore Alice in Wonderland, it’s one of my all time favourite books since I was little and I seem to always gravitate towards anything Alice themed!

So, I’ll stop before I start waffling on and quoting everything, let’s get onto the products themselves…

The Lipsticks

Who doesn’t love a good lipstick? The five Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Lipsticks come in a range of colours and finishes, such as metallic which, I think, makes them stand out from the crowd. The shades (from left to right) are Mad Hatter (purple, metallized), Iracebeth (pink/red, comfort matte), Time (blue, metallized), Alice (peach, sheer shimmer), Mirana (dark purple, metallized).

My favourite has to be Iracebeth as it’s the most beautiful raspberry pink/red, which is incredibly flatting as it’s bright but not too in your face and the matte finish is very comfortable to wear! I wore this out one evening and it wears extremely well before needing topping up – definitely one to pick up if you can.

The Eyeshadow Palette

How beautiful is the Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Eyeshadow Palette? It’s definitely the showstopper of the collection. This beautifully packaged box houses gorgeous gold lettering quotes, a mirror, a 3D butterfly decoration and a tray housing a huge 20 eyeshadows.

From light cream tones to wearable neutrals and metallics, to the bright shades for a more bold look, there’s something for everyone in this palette. Even though the brighter shades may put some off, I counted 15 shades that I would still happily wear which I think makes this palette 100% worth picking up! The shadows are the standard Urban Decay quality too, buttery soft and very easy to blend!

Overall I really like the variety that the Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection offers and I think, along with the stunning packaging, it would make a beautiful addition to any makeup collection!

Are you going to pick this one up? Let me know what you think in the comments!
