WISHLIST: Co-ords

Top row | black and white gingham // palm print // mono geo print
Bottom row | white set // black and white wave set // gingham top

Oh, co-ords. How I love the look of you but yet not one has taken pride of place in my wardrobe. I think my main issue with them is how I’ve never liked a print enough to own both a top and bottoms in it. Plus, a lot of what you see on the high street is very trend related and somewhat garish, so will only last a season before it’s pushed to the back of the closet.

But, alas, I’ve eventually found a bunch of co-ords that I like. Monochrome of course, but they’re much more likely to be transferred into other seasons than some I’ve seen kicking about. I have a huge amount of love for the gingham set and the palm set, as they’re so perfectly styled and the cut on both is really lovely. And, although it’s not strictly a co-ord, the idea of matching the top and bottom in the last pick is one that really appeals to me. They fit so nicely together, yet still give the impression that they’re a set, if you get me.

So, co-ords may work their way into my collection at some point soon as there are some ideal ones out there. I could definitely style the tops up with jeans in the Autumn and pair the shorts with tights and a knit. I love how adaptable a more plain set could be, which is great if you don’t want to waste your cash on trend that may only last a season.
